Get Connected

We invite you to be a part of our mission!

Be a Mentor

San Juan Diego Middle School provides a mentor for each student in the middle school and the Graduate Support Program. Mentors are matched with the student for the semester, the academic year or beyond, depending on the mentor’s wishes. All mentors are required to attend an orientation and training session, and all mentors undergo a criminal background check for the safety of our mentors and students. Mentors meet with their student once a week during evening study, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mentoring takes place Monday through Wednesday evenings at the school. The mentor picks the day most convenient to his or her schedule.

Be a Homework Helper

Fifth-graders at San Juan Diego Middle School don’t return for evening study. Instead, they have special homework study sessions as part of their afternoon curriculum. Volunteer Homework Helpers come to school one day a week between 3:45 to 4:45 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays to assist the Fifth Grade with homework and reading. Homework Helpers volunteer under the direction of the Fifth Grade Teacher.

Bring Your Friends for a Tour

San Juan Diego Middle School exists for the benefit of the entire Racine community. We invite you to meet our students and staff and to get the San Juan Diego Middle School experience firsthand. We would be happy to arrange a tour at your convenience.

Be a Financial Supporter

San Juan Diego Middle School relies nearly completely on contributions from funding organizations, corporations and individuals who believe in the school’s mission. We welcome your support.
